About The Role Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity. The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke. What you'll be doing The purpose of the role is to provide management, leadership and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers & Foremen. The scope of the Enabling Works and Earthwork is the design, planning, procurement and execution of some of the early SZC civils scope including – SSSI Crossing, ground improvements, dewatering, diaphragm walls, sea defence, marine bulk import facility (MBIF), beach landing facility (BLF), construction drainage outfall and bulk Earthworks. Who we're looking for Essential HNC/HND/Degree in an electrical or engineering discipline would be preferable and/or relevant Site Experience with the Utilities / Construction Industry Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card.
