Supporting the IT infrastructure in the data centers (e.g. racks, network, server systems and storage hardware)
Installation and initial configuration of all systems in the racks
Monitoring and controlling the smooth operation of the data center infrastructure
Successfully completed training in the IT sector (e.g. network technician, IT systems electronics technician, IT specialist) with relevant professional experience
Many years of professional experience within a network, data center infrastructure or as a service technician
Practical experience in the operation and further development of a data center infrastructure as well as in the support of data centers
Ideally additional professional experience with the support of network services and technologies such as LAN/WAN, firewall, IPSec/SSL-VPN or web & e-mail appliances or the willingness to acquire knowledge in these topics
Good knowledge of server technologies, structured cabling, air conditioning technology and cooling concepts
Knowledge of the German language would be advantageous
