Are you an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant looking for a new position and an opportunity to join as supportive and fast-growing practice? GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with well-established and recognisable Accountancy practice. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance and Practice Manager to join the team in Pershore. This position is working Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day between 08:00am – 18:00pm with an early finish of 14:30pm on a Friday. Salary on offer for this role is up to £50,000 pending relevant experience. We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate the relevant ACA/ACCA qualifications and 2 years or more post qualification experience within an accountancy practice. This is essential criteria. Finance & Practice Manager main duties:

  • Overall management responsibility for the finance function.
  • Production of monthly management accounts, KPI’s and other financial reports.
  • Compliance with the ICAEW and other regulatory requirements.
  • Providing commercial support to the teams across all the offices.
  • Managing facilities, IT and HR.
  • Managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Management of the sales ledger including direct debit collections and credit control.
  • Expenses and disbursement management for the firm.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Continued development internal systems and the practice database.
  • Support with adhoc projects and the continued growth of the business.
Finance & Practice Manager required skills and experience:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified having trained in Practice.
  • At least 2 years post qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of Xero software.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of report writing.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Driving licence is essential
