As a start up with strong foundations and partnerships with world leading organisations, we are looking for a new talented consultant to join our offensive security team. The successful candidate will work directly within the offensive team to expand on our capabilities and provide delivery of best-in-class testing of our clients' online applications and network infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for a penetration tester to join a thriving company and ambitious team who pride themselves on working on interesting projects with discerning clients. The successful individual will be joining a team founded by James Lyne and have access to globally recognised cyber security experts.
This opportunity will offer challenging, exciting, and hugely rewarding projects for the right candidate.
Develop and execute penetration testing methodologies, including manual testing and automated tools.
· Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate security risks to stakeholders effectively.
· Perform formal and comprehensive infrastructure and other penetration testing assessments where appropriate and required.
· Provide well-written, concise, technical and executive reports in English.
· Manage and deliver penetration testing project activities within strict deadlines.
· Coach and mentor graduate and junior penetration testers where appropriate.
· Support the marketing team with the development of content (including, but not limited to: blogs, social media posts, and articles) to help raise the profile of SI’s penetration testing and other services.
· Support the QA process to ensure high quality client reports are delivered in accordance with applicable Service Level Agreements (SLA)
· Effectively manage projects, workload, and training.
· Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
· Evaluate security solutions for compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
· Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing concepts, including requirements for White Hat/Ethical Hacking.
· Experience of testing cloud platforms and services (AWS / Azure / GCP)
· Deep knowledge of assessing both Windows and Linux environments, including strong knowledge of Active Directory.
· Deep knowledge of various Operating Systems and network principles.
· Knowledge of assessing cloud and hybrid environments (AWS and Azure).
· Ability to program or script in your preferred language.
