An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role is ideally suited to someone who is keen to utilise their engineering skills and knowledge to ensure the smooth running of production machinery and equipment. Description Conducting regular checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults as and when they arise. Assisting in the commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Liaising with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production lines. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Providing technical advice to colleagues as required.Profile A successful Mechanical Shift Engineer should have: An educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry. A solid understanding of mechanical systems and machinery. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
