Job Title: Game Director

Location: Enver Studios, Remote 

Enver Studios is seeking a passionate and experienced Game Director to join our dynamic team. As the Game Director, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple titles within our studio and ensuring that all teams have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality games on time. You will play a crucial role in driving the creative vision for each title, managing the development process, and ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Vision: Develop and communicate the creative vision for each title, ensuring alignment with Enver's overall strategic goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage the development process for multiple titles, from concept to launch, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, engineers, and producers, to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with production teams to allocate resources effectively, including budget, manpower, and time, to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps, setting clear milestones and deadlines for each stage of development, and ensuring that teams are on track to meet their goals.
  • Sprint Planning: Collaborate with development teams to set sprint goals and priorities, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined and assigned, and that progress is tracked and reported regularly.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process for each title, ensuring that games are thoroughly tested and meet the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Solicit feedback from internal stakeholders and external playtesters, and use this feedback to iterate and improve upon the gameplay experience and overall quality of our games.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges early in the development process, and work proactively to mitigate these risks and keep projects on track.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication channels with all stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and external partners, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a game development leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality titles on time and within budget.
  • Strong creative vision and a passion for creating immersive and engaging gaming experiences.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve their goals.
  • Deep understanding of the game development process, including design, production, and quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in game development, with a strong focus on delivering innovative and cutting-edge gaming experiences.
