We are seeking to appoint a Head of Boarding to start in August 2024. Reporting to the Head of School and serving on the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Boarding will provide the broad strategic leadership of the School’s Boarding Program. The successful post-holder will work alongside the Boarding Manager and will line manage Deputy Heads of Boarding, House Parents and Deputy House Parents. 

Being part of an outstanding and supportive community, the Head of Boarding will actively engage with students, staff and parents on a daily basis, ensuring a visible presence across the Houses and being the outward face of TASIS England Boarding throughout the academic year. As a leader within the TASIS England community, the Head of Boarding will be committed to making a significant individual contribution to the overall climate of the School.

In November 2023, TASIS England was honoured as the Independent Schools Association (ISA) Boarding School of the Year and this significant accolade is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our 70 dedicated boarding staff, whose incredible work creates a nurturing and engaging environment.

Our next Head of Boarding will be committed to advancing our boarding program to new heights. They will continue to drive the mission of the Boarding Program, to safeguard and support the well-being of each boarding student by meeting and exceeding the National Minimum Standards (NMS) for boarding, promoting multiple pathways for their learning to gain independence, responsibility, respect and resilience through their residential experience and by developing life-long relationships and shared experiences.
