Senior SEO Strategist Shopify & Ecommerce SEO Charle is a specialist Shopify agency working with ambitious ecommerce brands to drive sustainable growth through design, development, CRO and SEO. As our SEO service line continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to play a key role in delivering results for our clients and helping evolve how we approach SEO at scale. This is a hands-on role for an experienced SEO practitioner who enjoys owning outcomes, working closely with clients and shaping how SEO is delivered within a leading ecommerce agency. The role You’ll be responsible for end-to-end SEO delivery across a portfolio of ecommerce clients, with a strong focus on Shopify. This includes: Leading SEO audits and ongoing optimisation Conducting technical SEO reviews alongside our development team Owning keyword strategy across collections, products and supporting content Improving crawl efficiency, indexation and internal linking at scale Supporting content strategy with clear, commercial briefs and frameworks Collaborating closely with designers, developers and CRO specialists Translating SEO work into measurable commercial impact for clients Delivering international SEO strategies where required You’ll work closely with leadership to refine processes, improve consistency and support the continued growth of our SEO offering. What we’re looking for You’re a senior, hands-on SEO who: Has delivered SEO growth for ecommerce brands, ideally within an agency environment Is confident in owning both strategy and execution Has deep experience with Shopify and modern ecommerce SEO challenges Is comfortable working directly with clients and explaining decisions clearly Cares about commercial outcomes for brands, not vanity metrics You’re happy getting into the details when needed, while also helping improve how SEO is delivered more broadly. Experience with emerging search trends Experience or strong interest in areas such as: Generative search and evolving SERP behaviour Optimising content and sites for AI-assisted discovery Testing and adapting SEO strategies as search platforms evolve This isn’t a requirement, but curiosity and a forward-looking mindset are important. You should be ready to get stuck into our current SEO strategy and help evolve it as search continues to change.
