Management Accountant Full Time & Permanent Office Based Devizes Up to c.£35,000 An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a small and friendly accounts team in Devizes. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience, be able to prioritise workloads, demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility and have a proactive and positive approach to work, as well as having the ability to communicate effectively and build good working relationships. Key Responsibilities will include;- Preparing the month end management accounts and reporting pack. Preparing and posting Journals, Accruals and Prepayments. Balance sheet reconciliations. Maintenance of the fixed asset register including additions, disposals and depreciation. Bank reconciliations. Producing Weekly and Monthly reports. Dealing with the administration of client direct debits. Reconciling weekly sales results. Processing of employee travel claims. Payroll administration and posting of monthly payroll journal. Assisting with the training of the Accounts Assistant. Supporting the Purchase and Sales Ledgers when required.Candidate Specification;- Ideally be AAT qualified or have a similar qualification. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Good oral and written communication skills. High attention to accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage own workload. All round systems and PC skills; experience in using Xero accounting software and Excel is essential. Team worker and personable approach to contribute to a friendly and supportive team culture
