Our primary focus is on the offshore renewable energy industry, working with clients designing, installing, and operating infrastructure both offshore and onshore.

Your role will involve managing large commissions, leading a technical team, and acting as a technical reviewer in geoscience commissions. Deliverables will include desk studies, geoscience reports, interpretations, survey design, ground investigation reports, engineering assessments, construction planning, and supervision support.

You will be leading research and implementation of new methods, advancing best practices, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to initiatives such as laboratory testing, database reporting, python programming, and more.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a civil engineer or engineering geologist with experience in ground modeling in the offshore industry. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience, extensive team management experience, and a passion for knowledge sharing. Offshore industry experience in foundations, cable landings, or construction projects is desirable.

Mandatory requirements:
  1. Chartered Engineer or Geologist with significant offshore track record
  2. Offshore cable construction experience, ground modeling experience, or geoscience team lead experience
  3. Team player, mentor, and public speaker
  4. In-depth awareness of key industry software
  5. Attention to detail and clear communication
  6. Ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
  7. Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
  8. Ability to protect staff and negotiate with clients
Additional extras:
  • Offshore Client representative experience
  • Knowledge of geotechnical design standards
  • Track record in authoring industry-relevant papers and articles
