Job description

  • Act as a colleague champion and change agent, anticipating People related needs and developing integrated solutions in line with the overarching People strategy
  • To execute employee engagement and wellbeing strategies in Operations to support a reduction in employee absence and attrition.
  • To provide credible advice and coaching to people managers on all wellbeing and engagement policy in line with company approach.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and engagement, providing key insight / MI to the business in identifying trends and solutions.
  • To operate and collaborate with the People Partner (ER) within the ER framework.
  • Raise awareness and partnering to business regarding upcoming engagement and wellbeing initiatives and impact on ways of working.
  • To support other HR projects as required.

Essential skills

  • Strong advisory HR experience, particularly around employee relations, preferably gained within a commercial and fast-paced environment (e.g. contact centre/BPO).
  • Level 7 CIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of statutory codes and policies in employee relations.
  • To confidentiality and effectively communication at all levels (including written communication).
  • Up to date knowledge and keen interest in employment law.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail with detail -orientated mentality.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Friendly, approachable manner.
