We have full-time roles available for Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join our teams in three beautiful Good and Outstanding homes in an idyllic Peak District setting.
46 per hour, depending on experience.
£66 per sleep-in, typically 6-8 nights per month.
28 - 35 days' holiday.

Whether they're with us for short-term, intensive crisis intervention work, or longer-term placements as they transition towards semi-independence, we help change lives. You bring the right attitudes and instincts, show ambition, enthusiasm, resilience, and empathy, and we'll train and mentor you, as you mentor the young people in your care, developing your technical skills and confidence, and helping you to build a genuinely rewarding career; Their knowledge of appropriate boundaries and innate ability to make connections with young people are the ideal foundation for our thorough training on the more technical aspects of our work. We achieve consistently successful outcomes with young people because we employ a diverse workforce that can empathise with the cultures they come from and the issues they face. People who have learned important lessons from the school of life often have the greatest impact on vulnerable children and young people who have already experienced significant challenges and trauma.
Key aspects of children's residential care work:
Ensuring each young person is safe and cared for effectively, addressing care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs.
Exercising appropriate control over children and young people at all times
Working in partnership with parents, families, carers, and other professionals to advocate for, safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Covering various shifts including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, on weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays, within the Homes and on residential trips.
Some previous experience working in children's residential care settings (or similar) is desired.
Senior roles require level 3/4 in residential Childcare (or equivalents).
Applicants must be able to commit to full-time (40 hours/week) working, including sleep-ins and, potentially, short residential trips away with young people.
