Role: Indirect Tax Consultant - Greek Speaking Location: Southampton (hybrid) min 3 days in Office
Our Indirect Tax Consultants play a crucial role in supporting clients worldwide with their VAT obligations, encompassing tax compliance, VAT advisory services, and e-commerce consultancy. We adopt a client-centric approach and are currently seeking tax professionals to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
As an Indirect Tax Consultant Greek Speaking, you will provide comprehensive advice, offering practical guidance on VAT regulations, cross-border transactions, and ensuring full compliance with VAT laws.
Indirect Tax Consultant - Greek Speaking, the role
~ Provide high-quality VAT consultancy and business advice to your client portfolio continuously.
~ Advise clients on VAT liabilities, guide them on tax payments, proactively remind them of outstanding returns, and ensure compliance with European filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting as required.
~ Communicate with tax offices regarding clients’ accounts and obligations.
~ Conduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax offices related to your client portfolio.
~ Manage clients' accounts in coordination with the Credit Control Department.Represent the company professionally at events/webinars.
~ Indirect Tax Consultant - Greek Speaking, the person
Experience working in Law/VAT/Accountancy/Finance.
Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face to face (ad hoc)) in both Greek and English.
