Our client is an award winning building design consultancy currently experiencing a period of growth. With exciting new projects on the horizon, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. With sites across the North, this role can be based in either Northallerton or the Leeds area on a hybrid basis.

* About the Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing early design advice through to detailed Mechanical Services Design.

Other responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer will include:

* Production of mechanical building services design calculations

* Undertaking surveys on mechanical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use.

* Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments

* Overseeing and supervising the installation of building services systems

* Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be degree qualified with around 10 years post qualification experience within Building Services. You will ideally have experience of working as a contract administrator and will be confident working on buildings that contain asbestos.

Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering

* BIM and Revit software experience.

* Project Management qualification

* P405 working with asbestos

* Proficiency with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk AutoCAD and NBS software
