Temporary Finance Director

WE Talent are currently working with a national Insurance organisation in central Essex who are looking for a Finance Director to join their senior management team.
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director who has previously worked within the Insurance industry. The role is working on a hybrid basis from their central modern offices, and you will be managing a long standing finance team. Overall responsibility for financial management within the business and maintain all accounting records accurately
- Manage relationships between the finance team and external auditors when producing financial statements and annual reports
- Manage the production of data to create an accurate valuation of company assets to monitor solvency trends, and present this to the board
- Ensure regular updates across all senior management and board members to facilitate smooth information flow
- Fulfil legal responsibilities as defined by the Companies Act
- Organise board meetings, issue agendas, and prepare minutes and financial schedules
- Safeguard all company and statutory legal documentation
- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures through audit activities
- Continually review and improve company policies, processes, and procedures
- Implement non-financial services regulation to avoid litigation and reputational damage
Fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home)
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
