Newly created position establishing the VIP support function for a globally recognised brand. Providing specialized technical support to high-level executives or key stakeholders within an organization. This is a senior, hands-on role within the business.

Rate: £400 - £450, inside IR35.

Duration: 6 months (c. 12-18 month availability required).

Location: City of London (1-2 days WFH)

Your role as VIP Support Specialist

  • Respond promptly to VIP user requests and provide technical support either remotely or on-site as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for VIP users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment for VIPs, including laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Set up and support video conferencing and other communication tools for executive meetings.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues impacting VIP users.
  • Ensure confidentiality and prioritize security measures for VIP user data and systems.
  • Provide personalized technical support and assistance to senior executives and VIPs within the organization.
  • Act as a single point of contact for all IT-related issues and inquiries from VIP users.

Requirements as a VIP Support Specialist

  • Experience in IT support roles, preferably with exposure to supporting executives or VIPs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to provide on-site support to VIP users.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, and mobile device management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with VIP users.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar would be advantageous.
