We are looking for an experienced creative designer to join our friendly team. Our ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in all aspects of graphic design, an eye for typography, attention to detail, and an interest in all things branding. It’s an exciting time for the Ridge brand and we are looking for someone who will bring fresh ideas and creative flair to this fast-paced in-house role.
You will play a key role in evolving the creative direction of our brand and marketing materials. You will manage design projects and oversee our more junior designers and freelancers to ensure high-quality work across all media/platforms.
Produce high quality design concepts, layouts graphics and animations and provide guidance and inspiration to our team of graphic designersTake ownership of design projects for key marketing initiativesHave the knowledge and experience necessary to challenge and, where appropriate, to work beyond the brief to produce a design with greater functionality or improved user flowPresent potential design solutions alongside the biggest challengesNegotiate deadlines based on realistic timescales with an eye as to how this task will fit into the wider projectChallenge and evolve the ways in which we present our brand and marketing materialsBe up to date on design trends and best practices to ensure that your designs are innovative and effective
Sector marketing materialsMarketing campaign design projects from concept to deliveryBranded Adobe templates and design for MS OfficeEvent design concepts and materialsDesign for a variety of digital platformsDigital asset management for brand and campaign assets
Required Software Skills
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (After Effects, and Premiere Pro beneficial)Video and animation skills (beneficial)Excellent communication and teamworkAbility to adapt and learn new platforms and skills required for the role
Experience working as part of an in-house creative team or agency design team role at senior level (or looking to take the next step from midweight)
