Engineering Team Leader (FMCG) Are you ready to take charge of an essential operation and lead a dedicated team to success? We're seeking an Engineering Team Leader to oversee our teams, ensuring efficiency, safety, and top-notch service levels. As the Engineering Team Leader, you'll report directly to the Engineering Site Lead and supervise our multiskilled engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our food processing and packaging machinery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the engineering team to achieve operational targets and continuous improvement goals. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods for food processing and packaging equipment. Drive innovation and improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to safety and quality standards. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex engineering issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Mentor and develop team members through training and performance evaluations. Qualifications Suitably qualified either through an engineering apprenticeship or similar Proven experience in a leadership role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in food processing equipment. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
