Workshop Administrator FTX Logistics holds a contract to provide a Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) Service in support of the Ministry of Defence using a fleet of 80 tank transporters.

We are seeking to recruit an Administrator to join our small and thriving team at the Bulford Operating Centre to manage Fleet Maintenance and Compliance records. Ideally, we are looking for a confident and practical assistant with experience in an administration assistant role, who can absorb data from multiple sources. As the Workshop Administrator, you will be involved in a variety of activities to assist the engineering team and the Company as a whole. You will work closely with the Workshop Engineering Manager and the Compliance Manager. As a flavour of the various aspects, you can expect involvement in: o

Maintaining fleet maintenance records to DVSA standards. o

Check records for completeness. o

Raising workshop procurement documentation for spare parts. o

Manage workshop consumable stock. o

Input relevant training and competence data.

You will need to be reliable and have an excellent work ethic, confident in using MS Office products, able to learn new applications, working as both part of a team and independently. This role may suit someone with proven administration skills seeking progression or an individual returning to the workplace. Most important is the fit as a person into our team; training will be provided as necessary to allow you to thrive in the role.

This is a full time, permanent post of 40 hours per week with a salary banding of £23k to £25k.
