Business Planning and Operations Manager

An excellent opportunity to join a well renowned Financial Services company as an Operational Strategic Advisory Manager.
The role will involve engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making. You will also provide a support service to the business on operational and strategic risk matters in accordance with the enterprise-wide risk management framework.

Playing a key role in ensuring Insurance & Money Services has a robust risk and control environment, which is aligned to the Risk Management Framework and is Embedded across the business
Working alongside assurance and oversight colleagues as part of the broader Conduct & Controls team and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from across the business
Providing technical expertise to support the Value Stream and CoEs with the management of risks, controls, issues, and events
Facilitating the half-yearly Risk & Control Self-Assessment attestation exercise across Insurance & Money Services
Analysing risk data to provide insight and identify opportunities to simplify and add value
Coordinating the production of the pack for the Protect Risk Forum
Planning and prioritising work to meet commitments and foreseeing and resolving potential bottlenecks and delays
Engaging in local risk, providing credible risk opinion and expert knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
Considerable experience working with Risk Management Frameworks and undertaking risk and control self-assessment
Confident communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and gaining commitment through integrity, cooperation, and flexibility
Ability to translate risk opinion into measurable and timely actions
Initiative-taking mindset with excellent planning and time management skills
