Works Supervisor - Engineering Salary circa £30k + depending on experience 31 days holidays including Bank Holidays Early finish on a Friday An established manufacture based on the outskirts of Halifax, is now keen to recruit a Works Supervisor. This is a newly created role to support the Production Manager. * Candidates considered if keen to progress from a shop floor welding/fabrication position * THE ROLE

  • Day to day running of engineering workshop.
  • Organising work flows.
  • Ensure continuous productivity.
  • Support all staff.
* Co-ordinating across all departments including:
  • * Machine Shop
  • * Assembly
  • * Paint
  • * Fitting
  • * Pack & Delivery
IDEALLY BUT NOT ESSENTIAL, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Engineering background.
  • Machine shop.
  • Some knowledge of metal work / fabrication / welding.
  • Working on machinery.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
