We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and well-established manufacturer of Health & Beauty Products. Due to their continued growth, development and demand they are seeking to employ an experienced Process Operative for their Thetford site. They work with some of the world’s biggest brand owners, contract manufacturing household brands, and we also manufacture own label product for some of the UK’s biggest retailers. Hours of work: 6am – 3pm Monday – Friday Salary: £12.50 per hour On going position potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate Purpose of the role: To make batches accurately and within deadline, following the instructions given on the pan plan. Duties include: Checking all chemicals dispensed are correct before starting batch. Making batches accurately in line with the batch sheet. Completing the batch sheet accurately. Accurate record keeping. The work is physical and a hot environment. Ensure Process is kept clean and tidy and follow Health & Safety rules and procedures at all times. Report any issues to the Process Manager in a timely manner. Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent attention to detail IT literate Good manual dexterity Able to work well under pressure Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask Able to work independently and as part of a team
