The Advocate Group are working with a Global FMCG client in the search for a Category Insights Analyst, to strengthen their retail partnerships and shape category strategy across key UK customers. In this role, you’ll turn data into insight, insight into action, and action into commercial growth.
Analyse market, shopper and sales data (IRI, Nielsen, SAP) to identify category opportunities.
Support assortment, space, and merchandising decisions—both in-store and online.
Co-lead shelf and category management projects and build effective planograms.
Review promotional and trade performance to maximise ROI and category value.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, BI and external data providers.

2+ years in Category Management within FMCG role.
~ Strong analytical skills and confidence with IRI/Nielsen and Excel.
~ A collaborative, commercial mindset with experience working across teams.
