Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist design and manufacturing company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Mansfield-based facility.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer include:

Detailed design of new products from the concept stage through to production
Conceptual design, assembly / sub-assembly and detailed drawings, calculations where necessary, generation of Design File, BOM’s.
Redevelopment of existing products in order to enhance the design, cut costs and consider ease of manufacture
Appreciation of different material properties and basic engineering processes
Project management from concept to production.
Implementation of field trials.
Testing of prototypes.
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Design Engineers

HND (minimum) / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Working experience in Solidworks
Project management experience
Experience in Technical Authoring and Solidworks Composer
This Mechanical Design Engineer opportunity would suit a dynamic and creative individual who enjoys running a project from the initial concept stage through to final production not afraid of taking ownership and getting involved at all levels.
