Nexgen Locum are recruiting for our client in Richmond-upon-Thames who seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join their team. You will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager, ensuring the highest quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years old.
Work alongside the Registered Manager to provide excellent leadership and support to the nursery team.
* Actively participate in developing and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering engaging learning experiences.
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child's progress.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children, adhering to all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
* Assist with monitoring and evaluating the nursery's performance, contributing to improvement initiatives.
* Representation of the nursery, promoting its services to the local community. The nursery work very closely with the attached Church so it is important that these beliefs are respected.
* Qualified Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent level 3 qualification.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role within an early years setting.
* Have successfully gone through an OFSTED inspection within past 12 months.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practice.
* A passionate commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
* Make a real difference to the lives of young children.
* Ongoing training that reflects the Early years setting.
Full time, Permanent role, expected hours 37.
