Copello is partnering with a Defence client to recruit a Principal Control Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will use your expertise in PLC and SCADA systems to design, develop, and support advanced control and HCI solutions for naval platform management systems.

Design, code, and test PLC control systems
Manage data communications with third party equipment
Develop software from design documents (Block Diagrams, Flow Charts, Pseudo Code)
Validate and test software designs
Support project meetings, proposals, and change control

5+ years’ PLC engineering experience
~ Expertise in Fault Tolerant, High Availability, and Safety Integrated PLCs
~ Experience with SCADA/PLC interfacing and driver configuration
~ Understanding of software lifecycles, testing, and commissioning
~ Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical, Electronic, C&I, or Systems Engineering
