Tax Manager - Peterborough, permanent, office based.


We are seeking an experienced, qualified or part-qualified, motivated Personal Tax Manager to join our client who are a growing successful Accountants and Tax advisory business based in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive tax advice, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

s:Client Managemen

t:- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all tax matters are handled efficiently and effectivel

y.- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored tax advice and solution

Tax Complian

ce:- Prepare and review personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulatio

ns.- Ensure timely submission of all required tax filings and paymen

ts.- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and team membe

rs.- Provide expert advice on a range of personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trus

ts.- Advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their tax position and minimize liabiliti

es.- Work closely with other departments within the firm to provide holistic financial advice to clien

ts.- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and systems for tax compliance and reporti

ng.- Implement best practices and ensure adherence to firm policies and procedur

Qualificati

ons:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fi

eld.- Professional qualification such as full or part-qualified CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equival

ent.
Experi

ence:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in personal tax, with a proven track record of managing client portfo

lios.- Experience in a similar role within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy is prefe

rred.

kills:- Strong knowledge of personal tax legislation and compliance require

ments.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abil

ities.- Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office
