Closely support their clients with a plethora of technical projects, varying from network and O365 migrations to cloud infrastructure upgrades
Liaise closely with clients to understand stringent technical requirements and be able to scope and pre plan project accordingly
Prepare policies and procedures for clients, relating to CyberEssentials compliance
Oversee the maintenance, deployment and migration of Microsoft 365 suite of cloud services as well as Hyper-V/VMWare infrastructures
Lead the evaluation and deployment of new technologies and collaborate with 3rd party MSP suppliers to assist with the execution of high-level projects
Stay alert to ongoing issues and vulnerabilities occurring on customer sites to ensure potential escalated risks are mitigated early
Report directly to IT Manager/Project Manager and put forward proposals on how to improve processes and current operating systems
Support the 1st and 2nd line support teams as and when required
Proven work experience in an MSP/MSSP environment essential
Recognised qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science or a similar subject
Hands-on experience in IT project support, including writing project plans, procedures, and policies
Microsoft 365/Azure Fundamentals certifications highly desirable
Demonstrable 3rd line IT support experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft technologies – Exchange 2019, Windows 10/11, MS Office 2019, MS 365, and VMWare
Full UK Driving Licence
Please note: this role will require the successful candidate to commute to client sites on a regular basis to provide on-hand project support and evaluation when required.
