Singh & Jones have been retained by well established International Multi D Consultancy who are a NYSE listed business. With over 30 locations across the globe, my client is acting as a specialist consultancy providing design and structural/facade solutions to a wide range of contractors/clients. Due to growth, my client is keen to recruit a Senior Fire Engineer
Provide expert knowledge and guidance on UK ad European regulations and relevant fire standards to the companies clients.
* Support Structural Engineering, Building Physics and Product Development teams.
* Provide technical advice on fire related items to clients on Facade, Steel, modular and other innovative building systems, and their ability to meet legislative requirements.
* Project Management of fire testing on behalf of Clients. This includes wall, floor, column, cladding, cavity barrier, service penetrations, indicative, interactive and full-scale experimental testing.
* Supervise the construction of the test panels at the designated laboratories or the client's factory.
* Review and advise on Fire Test Details.
* Develop innovative construction products and building systems for Evolusion clients to meet their brief.
* Proactively engage and manage Client expectations at all times during projects.
* Business development in Ireland and overseas of all parts of the business.
* Review of project fire safety strategies.
* Writing desktop fire assessments based on fire testing completed.
* The ideal candidate will have a proven background from in Fire Safety/Structural Engineering with core qualifications in place.
