A leading nuclear and defence sector consultancy is looking for a senior mechanical design engineer to join a globally known project on an contract basis.

Job Role - Senior Mechanical Design Engineers
Location - Remote/Hybrid
Contract Length - 6 Months
This is a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced senior mechanical design engineer to join the team at a crucial point in a fantastic massive project and work with some of the best names in the industry to deliver engineering designs and solutions.

Lead engineering resource in the delivery of one or more technical design packages.
Delivery of engineering solutions for large-scale packages of work.
Undertake Design following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
Management of internal design resource in producing elements of the design.
Review and verification of design practices and technical solutions as part of a wider team.
Attendance at internal and external co-ordination, progress, and design review meetings.
Dockyard or MOD design experience preferred.
Appropriate qualification in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency using technical software, drawing and calculation packages.
