We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FS reg lawyer to join our client’s legal team. They are a well-known automotive brand with HQ in Basingstoke.
About the role
- Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of commercial matters.
- Advise on financial regulatory matters, including consumer credit, insurance, AML, and investment products.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures for financial services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that could affect the business.
- Provide training and guidance to other departments on legal and compliance matters.
Who are you?
- England & Wales Qualified Solicitor
- 3-5 PQE with experience in FS reg or at a FinTech
- Understanding of commercial and contract law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels
