As a Mechanical Engineer, you will get to tackle diverse, real-world challenges from the ground up. Awerian’s wide variety of intriguing projects, from proof-of-concept through to working prototypes, provide both intellectual and practical challenges.
Using 3D CAD (SolidWorks) you’ll create and evolve a wide range of designs which may include products, assembly jigs, test equipment and instrumentation. There will also be opportunities to present proposed solutions through sketches, animations, and renderings as part of the build, testing and troubleshooting process.
You Will Have a Track Record Of Academic Excellence, Hold a Relevant Degree, And Have Proven Technical Capabilities With Notable Experience In Several Of The Following Areas
Experience with a CAD package, preferably Solidworks, or other packages such as Catia, Creo or AutoCAD.
Experience in CAD design, manufacturing, design for manufacture, welding and fabrication design.
Experience using, or basic understanding of PDM (product data manager).
Design for integration with electronics/PCBs.
Expertise in use of hand tools, mechanical build processes.
