Academic Tutor Contract

1st Staff Limited are one of the leading alternative providers working nationwide with specialist staff helping students from 4-25 years of age with both education and therapeutic needs.

1st Staff require SEN Tutors that are able to work with students in the Harwich area that have been missing in education for a period of time. As an SEN Tutor you will be required to deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain the confidence and level required to attain the qualifications needed and potentially return to further education. Unlike other agencies, 1st Staff also provide a support network for all of our tutors.

Position Details - SEN Tutor

* Location - In the student's homes or a local library

* Position - 1:1 SEN Tutor

* Hours - 3 Hours a day, 5 days a week (During school hours, flexible on start times, more hours available)

* Start date - ASAP

* Planning and delivering individualised sessions based on the child's needs

* Building a rapport with the child

Working with a range of SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviours

* Excellent pay rates; up to £25 per hour

* Flexible working hours

* Part time and full time work available

* Support from dedicated Maths, English and behavioural specialists within the company

* Pension scheme
