In this role, you'll step into a thriving private client department, which offers some of the best work outside of London. As a Salaried Partner, you'll provide oversight to junior team members and actively contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.

Your responsibilities will revolve around handling tax and estate planning matters for both high-net-worth clients and charities, often involving complex, cross-jurisdictional issues, ensuring a stimulating and diverse workload. The firm has a continued influx of work across private client and charity work so no following is required. As charities work will make up part of your caseload, it's essential you've had exposure to this area of private client which could include the establishment of new charities, the merging of charities, incorporation of unincorporated charities, winding up of charities, providing advice on issues concerning governance and advising clients on structuring their charitable giving.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned Private Client Solicitor, ideally at Senior Associate or Partner level within a similar firm
  • Experience working with the charity sector is essential
  • Possess outstanding technical acumen
  • Strong communication skills and a keenness for business development activities
  • Supervisory experience is highly desirable
