Through science, technology, and maintaining a clear focus on people, we make mobility possible.We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our production site in Basingstoke.The RoleAs Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering support involving machining processes and process control for new and existing components.Key duties:• Creating programs to provide stable and robust engineering processes in a medium volume environment.• Running and proving out first off components through validation process.• Designing all work holding and fixtures required for the production processes, modelling and detailing drawings using CAD software.• Creating and releasing manufacturing routings in the ERP system.• Supporting production department with machine stoppages and tooling issues.• Programming, setting, and operating various simultaneous 5 axis (Inc 3 + 2) Axis CNC milling machines.• Liaising with Quality control department reviewing component tolerance data and highlighting areas for improvement.• Supporting in the creation of Inspection reports.• Creating manufacturing stage drawings for internal processes using CAD software.What can we offer you?Benefits• Highly competitive salary• 25 days holiday (rising after service)• Option to purchase additional holiday.• Lunch time finish on a Friday.• On demand pay• Pension• Death in Service.• Discounted shopping and leisure activities• Health cash plan• Cycle to work scheme.What are we looking for?Key Skills:• HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.• In-depth knowledge of CNC programming techniques, CAD / CAM, jig and tool design.• Demonstrate an ability to resolve problems, educate, and work to exacting standards,• Competent use of measurement toolsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team, within a unique environment and contribute to the success of our award-winning organisation.If you feel like you meet the above criteria for the Manufacturing Engineer opportunity, please apply nowINDBLATCHFORD
