Responsibilities:

As a Technical Sales Consultant for air services, you will follow sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, while helping to grow the ventilation hygiene business by maximising sales opportunities.

Act as the first point of contact for new ventilation hygiene business enquiries, maintaining a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach.

Handle new ventilation hygiene business enquiries and proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function.

Prepare and chase quotes, renew service contracts, and provide technical support to the wider sales team.

Exhibit excellent organisation and time management skills.

Key Performance Indicators:

Achievement of KPIs including Decision Maker Contact Calls, Face to Face meetings, Quotes, Orders, and Sales Invoiced.

Job Specific Functions:

Analyse area sales potential.

Maintain and improve working knowledge of technologies involved within designated sales fields.

Represent the company and promote a professional image in the marketplace.

Prepare, send, and follow up quotes relating to the Air hygiene business, working towards monthly KPIs.

Nurture good relationships with customers and colleagues.

Confidently handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers.

Proactively respond to new business enquiries.

Identify and maximise sales opportunities.

Learn the key fundamentals of legionella control.

Manage work and time effectively to meet deadlines.

Ensure sufficient site information is gathered and recorded clearly during site surveys for quotation purposes.

Support other sales team members where personal experience will assist.

Ensure that contract paperwork is complete and fully checked before handing over to the service delivery department for fulfilment.

Assist the service delivery department with the production of method statements and risk assessments.

Familiarise yourself with and comply with all relevant sections of the Company Health and Safety Policy.

Attend any health & safety meetings or team meetings where health & safety updates are shared.

Meeting Attendance:

Monthly and quarterly sales meetings.

Other meetings as requested.

Personality Profile:

A curious individual with good questioning and listening skills.

A person with a high level of personal self-motivation and drive.

A disciplined individual able to consistently work to a process, efficiently using IT systems to achieve above-average results.

You should have:

At least two years of sales experience in a ventilation hygiene-related role.

Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.

Excellent administration and organisational skills.

High-level IT skills in Microsoft Office 365.

Ability to show technical understanding of water hygiene legislation and guidance.
