Meraki Talent’s client is a leading financial services firm in Edinburgh, currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paraplanner to join their dynamic team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisors and providing exceptional service to their portfolio of valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with financial advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for clients.
- Conduct research and analysis on various financial products, including pensions, investments, and insurance.
- Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of client meetings, including gathering the necessary information and producing reports.
- Monitor and review client portfolios to ensure they remain aligned with the client’s financial goals.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
Background:
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and compliant documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with advisors and clients.
- Relevant certifications such as Diploma in Financial Planning or Certificate in Paraplanning
