Mathnasium is a global maths-only learning and tutoring service offering in-centre learning for children aged 5 to 16. 

Owned and operated by dedicated franchisees, our new Edinburgh South centre will focus on making a positive impact on children's lives through building their confidence with maths, and assisting their growth and development with the subject.

With a tailored curriculum for Scotland, we are one of over 1,200 centres worldwide, and have a proven track record for success which we are extremely excited to bring to and establish in Edinburgh.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Maths Tutor role in our Morningside centre. The successful candidates will be responsible for tutoring students in maths and be able to communicate with our students effectively, and be integral to enhancing their learning experience on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with the general understanding of maths
  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for helping students succeed
  • Patient and adaptable teaching approach
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents beneficial however not essential
  • Degree in maths or related subjects (preferred)
