Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and automating scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality applications and services. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Automation and Deployment: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment across multiple environments. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Lead the design, deployment, and day-to-day management of Kubernetes clusters, which serve as the core foundation of our application platform. Ensure robust orchestration, scaling, and maintenance of containerized workloads. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Optimize system performance and reliability, ensuring high availability of infrastructure and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments,with a strong focus on containerized and Kubernetes-based systems. Cloud Management: Architect and manage scalable solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Optimize cloud costs and ensure infrastructure security best practices are followed. Integrate Kubernetes workloads with cloud-native services to achieve seamless scalability and resilience. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define requirements and deliver solutions. Foster a DevOps culture by advocating for automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on Kubernetes-related best practices and support teams in adopting container-first workflows. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and secrets management. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001. Apply security hardening and governance to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring safe and compliant workload execution. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles. Proficiency with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git. Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack). Nice to Have: Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, etc.). Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). Knowledge of database and storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL, S3, etc.). Exposure to microservices architecture and related tools. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Adaptability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. A proactive mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
