Senior Bridge Design Engineer

Hybrid

£My client is hiring a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Bridges and Civil Structures within the UK industry. This is a permanent position based in their Manchester office, offering a hybrid work setup. The role will involve supporting their bridge projects as their workload continues to grow.

Undertake and supervise design and assessment for bridges and civil structures in rail and road environments.
Conduct structural analysis for various bridge types using appropriate software.
Collaborate closely with team members to design and assess bridges in compliance with codes and standards, developing practical solutions.
Mentor junior engineers in the team.
Support business promotion, bidding, and work-winning efforts.
Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and technical expertise in structural analysis using engineering software.Hold a BSc, BEng, or MSc degree in Civil Engineering.
Possess proficiency in using analytical software packages.
