Static Handyman - Guildford Hospital

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Static Handyman to join our dedicated team at a busy hospital in Guildford. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of maintenance and repair services, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of building systems and equipment, including:

* General repairs to doors, windows, and fixtures
* Painting, decorating, and minor carpentry work
* Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
* Assist with minor electrical repairs (under supervision)
* General upkeep and cleaning of hospital facilities

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Work collaboratively as part of a large and supportive team


What You'll Need:

  • A proven track record in a similar handyman or maintenance role
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and helpful attitude


What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £32,000 per year
  • Monday to Friday working hours (no on-call required)
