We're looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager to lead our driving range operations at our Rossendale site. This vital role focuses on managing the day-to-day activities of the driving range, ensuring that every customer enjoys a seamless, enjoyable experience. As the forefront of our operational success, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operation of the driving range, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and staff. Implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the opening and closing of the range, manage unsociable hours and weekend shifts, and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
  • Handle financial aspects, including cash handling, till management, and safe checks, with a focus on the range's profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and lead staff, creating schedules and assigning duties to ensure the range operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular checks and coordinate maintenance work to keep the range in top condition, ensuring all equipment is functional and safe.
  • Provide exceptional service at the range, resolving issues promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to analyse KPIs and performance metrics specific to the range and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
The Candidate:
  • Industry-Relevant Management Experience: Demonstrated leadership within leisure, hospitality, or sports settings, with a preference for those familiar with golf or driving range operations.
  • Adaptable Work Schedule: Willingness to accommodate the facility's needs by working early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • Leadership and Customer Service Excellence: Exceptional ability in guiding teams, serving customers, solving problems, and managing finances effectively.
  • Passion and Proactivity: A dynamic and forward-thinking approach, committed to delivering superior customer experiences and improving the driving range's operational success.
