A leading Defence client of ours is currently in the market for an associate real-time embedded software engineer is required in support of defensive aids development programmes at their in Luton site. Activities will cover the full range of the software engineering lifecycle, from requirements, to delivery, working on their client's current software code base to implement enhancements, resolve issues and ensure the software is compliant with their software development and release process. They are looking for candidates to have experience in the below: Must be able to demonstrate experience in all areas of the software lifecycle from requirements definition through to integration and delivery. Developing and updating Modern C++ software in a real-time embedded environment on target hardware. Familiar with debugging software on target hardware in a lab environment Strong knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle including awareness of the latest continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques. Understanding and application of software design methodologies and best practice including Object Orientated, SOLID design principles and use of recognised design patterns.
