Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients in Bristol. The Engineer is required to offer production support to the CNC process through writing programmes and using CAD CAM. Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with excellent starting salary.

With the company's success continuing to grow steadily, they are looking at expanding the work force on site in order to maintain production levels. Their product is sold into diverse industries and they are looking forward to another successful year within the precision manufacturing industry. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.

Day-to-day production support across a variety of manufacturing processes, including turning, milling and grinding

* Data driven process capability and process improvement activities

* Customer interface for engineering changes

* New product introduction activities, including manufacturing process and layout creation, prototyping and serial production support

* Defining manufacturing instructions, CNC machine program creation (CAM) and creating technical documents

* Support implementation of new CNC equipment

* Liaise with Design Office, Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, EHS and Quality Assurance functions

* Some international travel to be expected

Manufacturing/Production Engineering background

* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

* Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment

* Appreciation of aerospace bearing products and their applications

* OR an engineering graduate looking for an entry level role
