hireful is a technology company that develops cloud-based recruitment software (Applicant Tracking System or ATS) aimed at small to medium sized businesses in the UK. Alongside our software we also offer training and recruitment services.

We’re based in the Northamptonshire countryside, about 5 miles south of Wellingborough. We offer hybrid working but would need you in the office 1-2 days per week.

What will you be doing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support informed decision-making
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, reporting requirements, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Manage key financial supplier relationships e.g. auditors, finance companies, investors etc.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Team leadership - lead and develop the finance team.

What experience are we looking for: 

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally for a similar sized / slightly larger company.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA would be awesome.
  • The desire to grow into a CFO role, if you're not already there.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience working for a company focused on high growth, ideally Private Equity backed.
  • Previous experience running the finance operations for multi-national businesses – desirable, but not essential.
  • Previously worked in the software or services sector – desirable, but not essential.
