Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payment Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The Payment Product Owner will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy for our payment solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of payment products that meet customer needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap : Develop and maintain the product vision and strategy for payment solutions. Create and manage the product roadmap to align with company goals and market demands.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define features, and prioritize the product backlog. Ensure clear communication of the product vision and goals.
  • Market & User Research : Conduct market research and user feedback sessions to understand customer needs and market trends. Use insights to inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Product Development : Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements, create user stories, and ensure the successful delivery of features. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and review sessions.
  • Performance Monitoring : Monitor product performance and usage metrics. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive product enhancements.
  • Compliance & Security : Ensure payment products comply with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices. Stay up-to-date with changes in payment industry regulations and standards.
  • Go-to-Market & Support : Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging. Provide product expertise and support to sales, customer service, and other teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in product management, with a focus on payment solutions or financial services.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful payment products.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of payment systems, including SWIFT, SEPA, BACS, CHAPS, and other relevant payment networks.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with APIs, payment gateways, and financial technologies.
  • Experience with ISO20022, ISO8583, and other payment standards is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Certifications: Product management certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are advantageous.
