The key purpose of the Senior Cleanroom & Packing Associate is to progress products through the required areas within the Cleanroom and Packing department to the highest quality standards; be the subject matter expert on all systems, processes, and procedures within the Cleanroom department; be responsible for training and development of Cleanroom and Packing Assistants and Cleanroom and Packing Associates.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Cleanroom & Packing Associate

  • Complete all paperwork relating to the Device History Records.
  • End of line checks on DHR completions for the department
  • Progress products through the required areas within the Cleanroom department.
  • Adhere to all work instructions, general visual aids, and standard operating procedures.
  • Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as deemed mandatory by the business.
  • verification of conformity during processing of product.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained to Corin standards.
  • Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in and around the department.
  • Maintain the 5S methodology - sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain.
  • Raise and disposition any non-conformities via the Rework, Scrap or Concession process. With the relevant approval documentation.
  • Be responsible for first response and products in Triage.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop, the team to the highest standards.
  • Maintain Training records.
  • Support Quality in highlighting and reporting quality issues, understand the NCR root cause & support in the resolutions.
  • Raise and immediately communicate any issues or possible delays to achieve plan adherence levels.
  • Help maintain and update the visual board s.
  • Lead the shift handover
  • Be the key link for the manufacturing shift manager within the department
  • Be an advisor to the Manufacturing Shift Manager in signing off probation periods.
  • Undertake any projects as and when required .
  • Work and adhere to Corin’s health & safety procedures and processes, as well as conform with legislative requirements including COSHH and manual handling.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.

Area Specific Responsibilities:

  • Print labels and process all products through the packing area.
  • Carry out quality checks on all clean room assembled products.
  • Ensure correct labeling on all packaged products.
  • Carry out visual inspection of coated products.
  • Operate the Amsonic passivation line automatically and manually.
  • Prepare shipments to send to Coating

The ideal Senior Cleanroom & Packing Associate will have/ be

  • A good standard of secondary education or work experience that demonstrates commitment to a role.
  • Significant experience in all areas within the Cleanroom & Packing area.
  • Be able to work accurately with a good attention to detail.
  • Able to follow quality standards.
  • Reliable and committed.
  • Have good computer knowledge with the ability to pick things up quickly.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Lead by example with a “right first time” focus and strong accountability for team quality standards.
  • A positive attitude and always demonstrates Corin behaviours.
