About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be joining a dynamic team at one of the fastest growing cyber firms in UK, EMEA, and APAC.

What will be your responsibilities?

We are seeking a software engineer to be a part of the development of the next-generation enterprise cybersecurity big data platform, Blacklight. Prominent features of our state of the art software include application of advanced AI technologies (such as deep & unsupervised learning algorithms, fuzzy logics and evolution algorithms) coupled with cybersecurity technologies. Our game-changing cyber security software has already been recognized by leading major technology providers such as Google.

Qualified candidates will be well-versed in building cloud technologies including but not limited to Kubernetes, and exhibit keen aptitude for resolving technology challenges we face deploying & operating our innovative cyber software globally for our numerous clients. 

The focus will be on developing cutting-edge cybersecurity software solutions. You will contribute technically, which will include preparing deliverables. In this role, you will:

  • Support frontend software development and support of frontend web applications 
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and other developers to create best-in-class responsive Cyber security software 
  • Utilize latest and exciting technologies, frameworks, libraries, and development tools 
  • Manage and lead latest OS deployment techniques including automation of deployments such as using tools such as Terraform and global cloud platform (ie Azure, AWS, GCP, etc) capabilities 
  • Support internal teams to ensure all projects are well implemented and meet the highest quality 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • 4 years or above relevant working experience 
  • University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/System, or other related disciplines (preferred)
  • Working and/or in-depth knowledge of prominent hyperscaler platform technologies (ie Azure, AWS, GCP) 
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and OS components 
  • Linux system administration experience to troubleshooting OS level issues and obstacles as they may occur 
  • Strong sense of web technologies and standards 
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and ability to triage and resolve issues rapidly 
  • Good time management skills and problem-solving skill 

Additional experience: 

  • Appreciation or working knowledge of Cyber threats in enterprise environments
