The Project Manager will be responsible for estimating and managing projects including commercial, technical and scheduling activities whilst acting as a focal point for clients. Tendering and delivering successful, on time and on budget projects that leave the client satisfied. Bringing experience together with a positive attitude towards all colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Setting good expectations for others to follow and to show the willingness to progress.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source and order materials and services necessary for completion of projects ensuring customer specifications and requirements are detailed and correct certification is requested
  • Arrange & hold Kick of Meetings (KOM) with all key and relevant personnel involved
  • Hold & attend any necessary Management, Project and Client meetings with relevant personnel when required
  • Management of Project Budget, Project Reporting and Project Schedule
  • Cultivate and develop customer and supplier business relationships
  • Ensure all contract requirements and client expectations have been fully understood through Contract Review process
  • Prepare and distribute Job Card documentation to production team
  • Liaise with cost control team to ensure information is current to facilitate accurate decision making
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, within specification and within budget ensuring that variation management is completed in a timely manner
  • May be requested at times to perform other tasks and work additional hours in abnormal situations to ensure customer requirements achieved

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Experience working as a Project Manager on large scale projects
  • Experience working on projects in the façade or residential sector
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to identify work priorities and manage own workload, able to change with business needs
  • Able to work effectively with others and establish positive relationships with employees and external parties
  • PC skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required; able to adapt to and learn new systems
