We are looking to hire an enthusiastic senior Power Electronics Engineer for our R&D department.
The key responsibilities of this role are to design, develop and implement power electronics and auxiliary circuits.
This includes all technical disciplines required to deliver these circuits including component evaluation, circuit analysis and simulations, thermal and mechanical design, PCB review with consideration for manufacturing requirements. The role requires working as part of a larger team on significant projects or taking on smaller design challenges independently as and when required.

The successful candidate will join a multi-skilled team in a fast-paced environment meaning development opportunities are always available.

Solid understanding of power electronics.
Design and develop analogue, digital, electronic circuits, and systems for power electronics.
Working to agreed timescales & project plans.
Master’s Degree (MEng) in Power Electronics.
Have an awareness and desire to explore emerging technology in the field, innovating ways to incorporate that into designs and products.
Must understand power electronic devices, topologies, and control systems.
Have a working knowledge of planning tools and apply planning theory to their work.
Will help to plan sections of projects.
